# Updating ownerships

## **Ownership Update**

By default, Tactyc calculates the ownership at the end of each round automatically. However your actual ownership may be slightly different if there are competing SAFEs, warrants, ESOP pool or other complications involved.

To update an investment's ownership% after a specific round

1. Open the investment
2. Under **Performance Cases,** click on **+ Add** for the round you want to update and select **Ownership Update**
3. An Ownership Update event will be created. Click on **Edit** for the Ownership Update event
4. Enter the latest ownership for the company and click on **Close**
